What will you do?  

The Cairns office primarily supports Cairns based clients by providing technical solutions that are built on intimate knowledge of client assets.? In this position you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. Reporting to Queensland’s Roads Practice Leader or their delegate, the role will have the following expectations: 

  • Work in our established Cairns Transport Team with active participation in engaging, winning and delivering for our Local, Key and Platinum clients
  • Support mentoring of young professionals in the Cairns Transport Team 
  • Promotion and governance of our project delivery standards 
  • Fostering an inclusive culture that brings all of Aurecon to our clients 
  • Understanding of risk and the need for commercial acumen

What can you bring to the team?

  • Strong experience in the delivery of transport projects for Local and State Government 
  • Confident to work across markets with our Cairns teams in Land and Water, Transport, Industrial, Environment and Planning and Defence
  • Confident communication and ability to influence
  • Collaborative team builder with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Comfortable with the accountability that comes with making and meeting promises with our clients
  • An ability to inspire teams through a no-blame culture 
  • CPEng and RPEQ qualification desirable
