FP&A Analyst
Your next opportunity:
The FP&A Analyst role is an important role in the Central FP&A team. The role is focused on analysing data to provide management with information required to build superior business decisions. As part of a core team the role will look across the entire business, delve into data looking for the golden nuggets that will identify improvement opportunities. Partnering with Finance teams across the business, the role is important to analysing performance and supporting Boral's Continuous Programs providing independent financial perspectives and insights to senior leaders.
Your day will involve:
- Ensure integrity in financial results.
- Understand the business, with a foundation in data. Articulate business results through standardized reports and commentary.
- Interrogate data to support decision-making support and provide insight to the business to assist in making superior business decisions.
- Support the Enterprise-wide planning and forecasting process to ensure that plans are developed with data and follow standardised processes.
- Promote financial understanding for all key commercial drivers, productivity, asset efficiency, supply vs. demand, investment and projects.
What are we looking for?
You will be a commercially focused and experienced finance professional, ideally with prior exposure to data analysis, financial reporting, modelling and business partnering. You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Commerce, Business, Finance or Economics, ideally with CA/CPA qualifications.
- Wide and deep experience providing expert analysis and advice on financial outcomes pertaining to operations in large and complex businesses.
- Demonstrated finance experience and deep curiosity for data analysis, scenario modelling and developing reporting tools.
- Demonstrated self-driven ability to execute projects and initiatives in a timely manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate insight, supported by good influencing skills.
