We now have a great opportunity for an Electrical & Instrumentation Asset Engineer to join our Supply Chain business and our national network of fuel storage terminals.
This is role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Newport (Victoria) and some interstate travel will be required.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Chain Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for electrical, instrumentation and control system assets across a national portfolio of terminals, depots and pipelines.
You will:
- Provide engineering support to the Supply Chain Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Manage a portfolio of major maintenance and minor capital works.
- Provide assurance that Asset Management processes are being applied effectively and drive compliance to regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Identify and implement improvements to Asset Management processes and procedures.
- Support business planning activities, including the development and prioritisation of the Major Maintenance Portfolio and Capital Plan.
Qualifications
About you
You are a degree qualified Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls Engineering (or similar)) with the ability of effective communication and coordination skills. You hold demonstrated experience working within the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, or similar heavy industry sector, preferably greater than 8 years.
- Solid technical knowledge of operations, maintenance, and project requirements in a major hazard facility.
- You can demonstrate commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) and the desire to contribute to a team focussed on continuous improvement.
- You will have the confidence and capacity to align business and stakeholder priorities and provide clarity and vision for the broader team.
- You are dependable, detail-oriented and can apply innovative problem-solving skills. You will have a track record in taking ownership and delivering on your promises.
- Possess excellent stakeholder management skills (both internal and external) and are able to manage complex and strategically important relationships.
- Able to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group that includes senior management, operations, contractors, and suppliers.
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and effectively prioritise your time in a dynamic work environment.
