The Role

Our Morwell site is located about 150km east of Melbourne, manufacturing a large range of products in yoghurt and dairy desserts including brands such as Farmers Union, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait.  Operating 24 hours a day, six days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yoghurt facility in Australia. 

We currently have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Learning Coordinator to join the Morwell team to develop and implement the learning system framework to improve technical capability across the site. This role will see you develop, administer, and implement the training programme and long-term capability improvement plan for the site, as well as influencing and working with key stakeholders to monitor this plan. You will also play a key role in ensuring our systems and documentation is of the highest standard to support this program.

This role is a Monday to Friday site-based role with start and finish times flexible depending on training needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for the implementation of the Morwell training and competency assessment program
  • Determine learning needs for team leader & team members aligned with the framework
  • Partner with the team to develop training materials and ensure they are incorporated into Operator and Trade training manuals
  • Developing and publishing training calendars and materials
  • Review current processes and make process improvements

About you

  • Completed (or completing) Cert IV Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or higher
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel) and general computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and processes in an engaging and thorough manner
