Engineers Australia has announced a Professional Development Partnership program with a major industry provider.

The new initiative will see the engineering body team up with AGC, a large-scale supplier of scaffolding, construction, maintenance and insulation services to the oil & gas and resources industries.

Engineers Australia is focussed on AGC’s existing Training Pathways program, which seeks to develop workers’ skills in non-trades, trades, project management and business management.

The new Professional Development Partnership program will provided by Engineers Australia will see training and development in three key areas: AGC’s graduate program, project management and achieving Chartered status.  

Both groups have welcomed the collaboration, and the improved skill sets it should foster.
