Texas focused oil exploration company Talon Petroleum has announced the appointment of Jeff Forbes as the company’s new Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Mr Forbes joins Talon after serving as Executive Director and CFO of global infrastructure services firm Cardno.

Prior to his appointment at Cardno, Mr Forbes worked in the mining and resources sector for over 30 years in a number of management positions.

Mr Forbes recently held the position of Executive Director of Highlands Pacific prior to his time at Cardno.
